What in the world? Fill a bottle? Get the feels? What have you been sticking in your morning coffee lady? Really, nothing but good ole coffee cream and a dash of sugar, BUT I have added more “feels” to my day and it is stress free too! Come on; grab a clean dry empty bottle, small med large up to you in size! I am using a one liter; I got it at the dollar tree (my son wanted a Pepsi bad!) raised it , dried it and re read this pin, on FACEBOOK.Com. And BOOM!! Stress-free, easy as pie way to add accomplishment to my day! More money in my pocket and a new stress free goal to my life REALLY!
Here: Dime challenge (click it and ck it out)
How it helps:
· If you have a dime drop it in the bottle if not no biggie, when you do get one the “yay I have a dime” will excite you and you will be delighted it drop it in.
· You will save money the fun way! (I started smaller than suggested I wanted to add yearly advancement goals, step up to a bigger one each year. (Baby steps for me!)
· If you’re like me, I don’t like to feel pressured to meet the goal, and with this challenge I DON’T!! Because it’s like “oh, I do or do not have a dime today to drop in, hmm maybe tomorrow.”
· It’s fun! I have even found myself swapping my kids dimes for quarters or dollars, so I had dimes to drop in! the kids love it , it has almost became a weekly game for us here, “guess who has dimes this week , and who needs em’”
· Make it a year end family “date night.” We chose the 1stday of December 2016 to turn in our bottle of dimes, and we will use a small amount for a family date night, and the rest for extra Christmas cheer, and a pay it forward activity!
· And, you’re recycling a bottle! Yay mother earth is so happy!!
So far our 1 liter bottle is nowhere near full or even impressively filled. But for the 3 short months we have been doing the dime challenge the fun, memories, and bonding has outweighed the actually challenge to my family and I! so why not grab an empty bottle, and some dimes and have fun!! Feel free to email me or comment on your updates, inputs or ideas! I would love to hear them.
Until the next post, may your coffee be hot and your diaper of life not! (Lol, my 11 year old daughter came up with that one! J )
